When a blasting process is robotically automated, it is common for other automatic processing or inspection equipment to be part of the same cell and for external auxiliary transfer or conveying equipment to be needed. In this example, Guyson designed, built and integrated custom transfer carts that could be loaded from outside the safety enclosure to present the work to the machine-tending robot, as well as a take-away conveyor to deliver the cleaned and finished components directly to an adjacent coating cell.
