Industrial control panels built by Guyson Corporation may now be labeled as meeting the rigorous standards of Underwriters Laboratories.
Guyson’s electrical panel shop has received approval for the manufacture of open and enclosed industrial control panels that meet the standards UL 508A and UL 698A and authorized to mark the electrical enclosures as such.
Regarded by many as the most trusted name in product safety certification, UL Listing signifies that the company’s manufacturing practices are in compliance, that all materials and components have been tested for safe and reliable performance and that each manufacturer in the supply chain maintains the required documentation to substantiate that their product complies with the applicable standards.
Based on published information, Guyson Corporation is the only North American manufacturer of blasting equipment to have this coveted certification.
Speaking at the time of the announcement that Guyson had been certified, Steve Byrnes, President of Guyson commented, “This strategic decision to seek UL certification was based on being able to supply, as standard equipment, the highest quality electrical system, which adds increased value to the customer and satisfies the requirements of those customers who specify a UL control panel.”
