In this transfer cart blast machine, a component-manipulating robot is mounted inside the blast chamber. The cart bearing a tray-ful of parts translates in and out of the enclosure, so parts can be grasped and held under the blast from one suction-blast gun or pressure nozzle, always maintaining the correct blast angle, offset and surface speed for even coverage. An auxiliary gripper may be provided to allow re-gripping of parts to blast all areas of each work piece.
