In this model, a small 6-axis component-handling robot is mounted inside the blast chamber within reach of the reciprocating transfer cart that holds a tray of like components. One-by-one parts are grasped and manipulated under the blast from a single suction-blast gun or pressure-blast nozzle, then replaced in the part-holding tray. An auxiliary gripper may be provided to enable re-gripping of components to obtain full coverage of all areas of the part.
