This work-cell-sized machine has a single blast station, where fixtured components are exposed to the blast from up to 4 suction-blast guns. Part-holding fixtures are mounted on a 180-degree indexing table that is 20 inches in diameter, so components can be unloaded and loaded by hand, by a pick-and-place device or by a robot during the timed blast cycle. The blast guns may be bracketed in fixed position to target specific component features, or they may be mounted on an oscillator or linear actuator to cover a larger area.
