This 55 × 62-inch blast cabinet has two active blasting stations, where components are exposed to the blast from up to 12 suction-blast guns or multiple pressure-blast nozzles during the timed automatic blast cycle. Six or 12 part-holding fixtures are located around the perimeter of a 42-inch diameter table on a 60-degree or 30-degree indexer. Linear, oscillating or robotic motion of the blast guns conserves compressed air, but blast nozzles in fixed position can target specific features of the components.
