This popular design has 6 or 12 spindles equally spaced around the perimeter of a 60-degree or 30-degree indexing table 42 inches in diameter. Blasting takes place at 2 or 4 stations in the blast chamber, where fixtured components are rotated at controlled speed as they are blasted by up to 12 pre-positioned suction guns or multiple pressure-blast nozzles. Motion of the blast guns may be oscillating or linear, or the nozzles can be bracketed in fixed position to concentrate blasting on specific areas of the component.
