In this example of robotic automation, loading and unloading of an indexing table bead-blast machine is only one of several things going on. Guyson designed, built and integrated several auxiliary devices to meet the customer’s requirements. Each component is inspected using a 2-D imaging system, carrier trays are re-oriented and stacked for use in automated packing equipment and the finished components are oriented and accumulated in counted batches for transfer to an adjacent automated cell.
