Bead or grit media in the wet blast system effectively removes scale from component surfaces after heat treating, welding or brazing, to produce a bright and satiny finish or to prepare the surface for coating, bonding or another surface treatment. Fast processing is possible due to the sheer volume of media that can be delivered to the surface by the wet blast descaling system. Wet blasting also allows simultaneous application of a rust preventative mixed in the wet portion of the slurry, if desired.
